Arturia have unveiled their latest keyboard, which marries a semi-weighted 61-key unit directly with their range of software offerings. Like their wider keyboard range, white leads the way:
Let’s dig into the features a little:
- access to 33 instruments from Analog Lab, and over 1000 presets built-in
- the navigation wheel & screen allows you to cycle through the library of presets.
- 4 macro controls for quick editing
- 10 Presets Buttons
- 2 dedicated FX, Delay and Reverb, along with two assignable FX, with up to 12 insert FX to choose from
- Chord, scale and arpeggiator modes, with all three being able to be used simultaneously
- Program a split point to load two different sounds across the keyboard
- Ability to loop any sound by up to 32 bars. You can also capture the MIDI and change instruments on the fly
- Built-in vocoder engine with expanded supported voice-input presets when combined with Vocoder V.
The AstroLab Connect app (available for both iOS and Android) allows you to browse presets, build playlists and get more sounds from the Arturia store:
